Power Grid Civils are delighted to be working alongside Clancy Group to deliver a 132kV towers and associated cable sealing ends project in Wokingham South of England, on behalf of SSEN.
This is a challenging and strategically important project being delivered within a joint venture environment between Balfour Beatty and Clancy. Due to the nature of the works, there are significant logistical and coordination challenges across the site. Through proactive communication, detailed planning and close stakeholder engagement, PGC continues to successfully manage and deliver the works safely and efficiently.
Works commenced in April 2026 and are scheduled to run through until June 2026.
Scope of Works
The project scope includes:
- Construction of new foundation bases incorporating temporary works solutions
- Utilisation of bespoke shuttering systems
- Construction of stone hardstanding and levelling works
